At Buss Murton Law we are strong advocates for integrating into and supporting our local communities. Throughout our offices in Tunbridge Wells, Cranbrook and East Grinstead, our team takes pride in sponsoring and supporting local businesses and charities.
Tunbridge Wells Mental Health Resource (TWMHR)
Throughout 2021, 2022 and 2023, Buss Murton Law have proudly worked with TWMHR to raise money for this very important local charity. Tunbridge Wells Mental Health Resource provides “safe spaces and person – centred mental health support” to people in West Kent.
Alongside raising awareness of mental health importance amongst the Buss Murton community, our team have also raised money for TWMHR.
In April, our employees helped to support Tunbridge Wells Mental Health Resource by holding a sweepstake for the Grand National (which proved to shed light on our employees’ competitive sides). All money raised went towards promoting mental wellbeing for the wider community.
For October, a handful of Buss Murton Law employees were invited to TWMHR’s Autumn charity ball. Our employees had a fabulous evening, enjoying games, powerful speeches, and delicious food. Buss Murton Law is proud to be able to represent our company at an event that raised over £9,000 for a brilliant charity.
November came around quickly as the TWMHR 30th birthday quiz was taken on by 5 of our smartest employees. Buss Murton Law had a competitive team that were excited to get stuck into the action and raise money for our charity of the year. The team “Trial by Trivia” came 4th!
On the 7th of December our Tunbridge Wells, Cranbrook and East Grinstead offices held a Christmas jumper day in support of TWMHR. Amongst the excitement of the weird and wonderful array of jumpers, awareness was created amongst the employees on the importance of mental health.
Dunorlan Park Fireworks
For 10 years, Buss Murton Law has been proud to sponsor the amazing Dunorlan Park Fireworks. The event is held by Royal Tunbridge Wells’ Round Table; a group of men that do charitable things in the area.
This year Buss Murton Law were the headline sponsors of the Dunorlan Park Fireworks, very fitting for our 10-year anniversary of sponsorship. This event is one of the biggest in Tunbridge Wells, with over 10,000 attendees most years. The Round Table send all proceeds to local charities.
Trinity Theatre
Buss Murton Law have sponsored Trinity Theatre since 2017. Trinity Theatre is a “vibrant cultural hub” situated in Tunbridge Wells. Trinity is best known for supporting local people of all age groups in their theatre productions, comedy shows and live music.
Working closely with Trinity theatre both in our yearly sponsorship and attending their productions, shows and corporate events gives Buss Murton Law employees an opportunity to witness the difference Trinity Theatre makes in the local community.
In June, Buss Murton Law employees took on other corporate sponsors in Trinity Theatre’s “Corporate Members’ Fundraising Quiz”. This competitive and thrilling night was one to remember for the Buss Murton Law employees that attended, and we hope to show our quiz skills again soon.
Molly Sacker – GBR Sailing
This year Molly Sacker, a British international sailor started her campaign for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Buss Murton Law was excited to sponsor an up-and-coming talent through her sailing career. Buss Murton Law decided to sponsor a new race sail for Molly, which proudly displayed our brand logo.
West Kent SFA
Buss Murton Law takes pride in giving back to our local community, one way in which we do this, is through sponsoring a local football academy. Buss Murton Law sponsors the U11 Girls team, ensuring they have all the equipment they need to excel!
St Dunstan’s Church Christmas Tree Festival
To get into the festive spirit and support the Cranbrook community, members of the Buss Murton Law team sponsored and decorated an 8ft Christmas tree located in St DUnstan’s Church. The tree will be displayed, amongst other beautifully decorated trees within the Christmas Tree Festival.
