Applications open for a £30,000 charity giveaway

The Royal Tunbridge Wells Round Table have announced that they are launching a £30,000 charity giveaway following record attendance at the annual Dunorlan Park Fireworks which took place on the 5th November.

The event, sponsored by Buss Murton Law is one of the most rewarding events in the local calendar with the organisation making donations to local charities and good causes such as winter shelter programmes, food banks, elderly care and children’s charities.

Andrew Linton, Managing Partner at Buss Murton Law commented: “We are pleased to be associated with such an important and worthwhile cause and our support reinforces our commitment to working closely with the community in which we operate.”

Anyone in need of funding within the community is welcome to apply, whether individuals or members of larger organisations.

Closing date for applications is Friday 27th January.

Applicants will be notified of whether or not they've been successful at the beginning of March and if so will be presented with a cheque at the presentation event with the Mayor on Sunday 12th March.
