Careers and Training
At Buss Murton we consider our staff to be our main asset. We take pride in the high level of expertise we provide in all areas of personal and commercial law.
Having obtained IIP status in 1997, retained Lexcel in 2007 and Arts and Business Partner accreditation in 2006, we strive to ensure that all our team are properly trained and developed to perform their individual roles within the firm. Indeed, we encourage them to fulfil their aspirations and we give financial assistance where appropriate.
We are committed to providing equal opportunities and maintain an Equal Opportunities policy.
We often hear it said that Buss Murton is a happy place in which to work and this is reflected in our being awarded "Best Office" in 2005.
Perhaps, more importantly, it manifests itself in the many expressions of appreciation we receive from our clients.
Training Contracts:
Buss Murton recruits trainee solicitors in September each year. Trainees can expect to train in four departments over 24 months. Closing date for September 2009 is September 30 2008.
How does it work?
If successful, you will be given a high level of responsibility under the supervision of your training supervisor and you will benefit from the trainee mentor scheme we run, whereby you are allocated to a more experienced trainee who answers day to day questions and passes on knowledge and tips.
Where are we?
You will most probably be based in our Tunbridge Wells office, a picturesque spa town with excellent shops and amenities only 50 minutes by train from central London.
What are we looking for?
Although a high level of academic achievement is important to us, we do consider candidates who fit in with the firm's profile and ethos.
