Separation

Sometimes a married couple may wish to separate without obtaining an immediate divorce.  In such circumstances we are able to advise on the terms of a separation agreement which will formally record any financial arrangements reached between the parties. Such an agreement can deal not only with short term arrangements, but also record the long term arrangements which a couple will seek to put in place in the event of divorce.

Some couples may have a religious or other fundamental objection to divorce but nevertheless wish to formalise their separation.  In this situation we can assist our clients in obtaining a formal decree of judicial separation.
