Caring for the Elderly

You will undoubtedly have, at some time, an elderly relative who is finding it difficult to administer their day to day lives. Naturally, you will want to help.

We can advise both elderly clients and relatives on ways of looking after affairs, giving them peace of mind.

As travelling can sometimes be difficult, our specialists are very happy to visit them at home or wherever is most convenient.

Specifically, we are able to offer:

  • Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • General Powers of Attorney
  • Applications to Court of Protection
  • Dealing with the Office of the Public Guardian
  • Acting as Receiver or Deputy

Do not hesitate to ask us for some general advice should you need to look after an elderly, or indeed, sick relative.

We are also members of the Solicitors for the Elderly association, a national association of lawyers providing legal advice to elderly people, their family and their carers.
