Robert Sedgwick joined Buss Murton in 1971. During the intervening period he spent 15 years doing commercial litigation and the last 18 years advising owner managed businesses, dealing with start-ups, corporate finance, and organisation, company purchases and sales, and anything else needed for running and enjoying the fruits of a successful business.

For part of the last 18 years he was also managing partner of the firm so is well acquainted with the practical as well as the legal challenges of the owner managed business. His clients are based around the world and he is used to coping with differing time zones.

Outside the confines of work he enjoys sailing, fine wine and food and a good book.
