Richard read Law with Politics at the University of Manchester, graduating in 2005 with a 2:1. He initially spent a year in industry, working in the Networks department of EDF Energy, where he acquired an understanding of the functioning of large corporations.  He then completed his legal studies at the College of Law in Guildford, obtaining a distinction in the Legal Practice Course. Richard joined Buss Murton in September 2007 in order to complete his legal training and has now joined the Cranbrook office as a qualified solicitor. Richard is a keen sportsman and is Club Captain of a local football team.
