Margaret is a Solicitor in the Family Department in Tunbridge Wells and has over 13 years of experience in this area of law. 

Margaret is a Resolution Accredited Specialist, having undergone a rigorous assessment by Resolution, the organisation for Family Solicitors.   Whilst she acts for clients in all areas of Family Law, her Specialist areas are Children, and Advanced Financial Provision.

She acts for clients in divorce proceedings and in reaching financial settlement either following mediation, through negotiation or via the Court process.  She also assists clients in reaching agreement regarding care of the children and in contact, residence and related disputes.  Premarital agreements are becoming ever more important and Margaret is experienced in advising on and drafting these documents for her clients. Cohabitation disputes and agreements are also an important area of her caseload.

Margaret worked as a legal assistant in the Family Department in a firm in Maidstone for three years before joining Buss Murton in January 2000.  She qualified as a Solicitor in 2003.

One of Margaret's main interests is French literature, having obtained a degree in that subject in 1977 from the University of Birmingham.  She also enjoys walking and travelling abroad.
