Richard joined the Wealden firm of Murton Clark & Murton Neale in 1968 as an articled clerk. After qualification, he became a partner in 1975, and was involved in the merger that created Buss Murton in 1985. Throughout his working life he has lived and worked in the Weald of Kent, servicing the legal requirements of his many clients acquired over the last 40 years.
Since his retirement as a partner in 2000, he has worked with the firm as a full-time consultant, dealing mainly with conveyancing work, both residential and commercial, as well as providing other general legal advice.
His personal interests mainly revolve around keeping his narrow boat afloat and cruising England’s inland waterways. He is a keen Rotarian.
